Better Late Than Never

I forgot to post this after Michael Jackson’s death.  Our friend, Erika, took this fabulous photo of a poster that had just been put up.  It says “Keep Dancing” and I absoultely love the way the light of the sun is shining on it.  Enjoy.

You Go, Girl (or Boy)

My friend, Sarah, spotted this fabulous license plate in the Wal-Mart at Howell Mill.  Love it.

Not In GA…but it could be

This sign has been on the HWY 521 heading to the beach in South Carolina for as long as I can remember.  I finally stopped my car and took a picture. The drawing of a “joker” really makes this all worthwhile.

I can’t wait for a Piece of…

CAKE!  Hahah – you naughty minded people.  I am just very excited that , [tag]Piece of Cake[/tag] – the world renowned cake bakery in Buckhead is opening up a location on College Avenue in Decatur…walking distance from my own home!  They don’t just bake amazing cakes either – they bake cookies, cupcakes, brownies, chocolate covered pretzels, and more.

I am sure ouor friend, Karen, will be terribly excited as her favorite cake EVER is the Red Velvet Cake.  In fact, Alison and I have had to make a special trip there to get her the cake because her hubby forgot to do it for her birthday and it was like the only thing she wanted as she was a million months pregnant and craving it.  (Sorry, Fisher!)

Anyway, YEAH TO PIECE OF CAKE COMING TO DECATUR!

Joel

First of all, Joel has gotten older.  He has changed all of his photos from when he was in his 30′s to these new ones where he is not in his late 40′s? Early 50′s?  I can’t tell anymore because I am getting old.  Regardless, I can’t stand this new billboard (which by the way I took in a parking lot of a strip joint – not that I had been to that strip joint…just stopped to take a photo of Joel.)  Either way, what photographer made him pose this way?  Isn’t this like something we did when we were in grade school posing for Olan Mills?

I mean, really, Joel.  You make a lot of money.  Hire a good photographer and cross your arms or something!
