On The Screen Door, Part 2

Maybe I am crazy, but I 99% sure our Luna Moth is laying eggs on our screen door.  She has a little pod of 5 of them (photo above) and has now moved beside them and is no longer on top of the eggs (below photo.)  Does anyone know what will happen next?  Do these eggs just stay in my screen door or is some big boy Luna Moth going to show up next?? Ah! Nature freaks me out and amazes me!

Saturniid moths have to mate first, then lay their eggs, but since they live so briefly they’ll lay anyway after a few days. So, these may not be fertile. Unfortunately, the only way to find out is to leave them for a few weeks and see if they hatch. (And if they do the poor things will probably die very quickly being in such a location…unless you want to look after them!)
